Abstract :
A monolithic seventh-order continuous-time bipolar filter for use in magnetic tape drives is presented. The filter provides a 0.05° equiripple linear phase response with matched group delay at both normal and differentiated lowpass outputs. The cutoff frequency and high-frequency equalization are digitally programmable through a serial interface. The circuit operates from a 5-V supply and requires only a single external resistor
