Abstract
This paper discusses the role of partner robots networked in SICE City. In order to realize sophisticated services for a community, the city design based on ubiquitous sensor network is very important. If a public office can be a service provider, service engineering can easily gather opinions of a resident as a user. A robot can be used as an interface connecting the physical world with the cyber world and as a human-friendly life-support system. Furthermore, the structurization of available environmental information is very important for robots interacting with humans. Robots can receive environmental information through the network from the environmental system. In this paper, we show several experimental results on the networked partner robots interacting with humans
