Abstract :
The simulation of the whispering gallery (WG) oscillations in the barrel-type dielectric resonator (BDR) with a capillary is carried out. The fact that the differences in the dielectric properties of the liquids, placed into the capillary, result in the variations of the resonance frequency shift, amplitude and the Q-factor of the WGO is shown.
