Abstract :
In order to identify the location of key nodes and further develop protection strategies in optical mesh networks, a novel strategy of network node importance evaluation based on Triangle Module is proposed. This scheme abstracts the optical mesh networks into a weighted network model, and synthetically considers the impact of the characteristics of the transmission and the grid structure on node importance. Simulation results show that the proposed strategy can overcome the limitations of single evaluation indicator and differentiate the importance of network nodes precisely.
