Abstract
In this paper, the problem of landing for a UAV on the runway is discussed and a control method based on optical guidance is proposed. This method uses optical guidance to generate the guidance signal and then control the landing of the UAV along an ideal trajectory. In this paper, the design method of ideal trajectory and corresponding landing control method, which based on the small disturbance linearization model, are presented. The simulation results demonstrate that the control performance can satisfy the requirements of automatic landing of UAV and have the exact output tracking ability.
