Abstract
In this paper we analyze the performance of a PCC-OFDM system under the environment of frequency offset. And a method using shift auto-correlation to correct the frequency offset is presented. Because of the small out-of-band power of PCC-OFDM, only four or six super subcarriers (SSC) are used for transmit synchronous information. The essential ideal of this method is based on the independence of the symbol being transmitted. But when frequency offset exist the demodulated symbol is correlated with each other. And the correlation degree depends on the relative frequency offset. Simulation results show that it is an effective way to estimate frequency offset.
