Abstract :
The energy source with high output voltage is one of the main components of pulse accelerators of relativistic electron beams. To create transportable facilities, the energy sources with high specific energy stored are required, which are able to produce rapidly increasing (~100 ns) voltage pulses ⩾400 kV. The explosive magnetic source of high-voltage pulses meets these requirements. The operating principle of this source is based on the two cascade circuit opening of the helical flux compression generator
