Abstract :
In MANET, multicast routing can take full advantage of the shared wireless channel, in order to provide stable multicast paths with enough bandwidth, this paper proposes a QoS-based multicast routing protocol QMMRP. Entropy of nodes is treated as an important parameter to find a stable path; new protocol uses bandwidth reservation mechanism to achieve certain QoS requirements. Simulations based on NS2 show network load are much higher than that of ODMRP protocol. On the basis of data of experiment it can be concluded QMMRP can provide better quality of service for MANET.
