Abstract :
In this paper the closed-form synthesis issue for distributed matching networks operating at fundamental, second and third order harmonic frequencies is considered and solved. All the possible circuital solutions are examined and for the best circuit solution, the synthesis formulae are defined. Moreover, using the introduced formulae, a computer-aided design tool is presented to explore the potentialities of the examined structure. In particular the regions, where the loads at frequency f for some selected second and third harmonic loads can be synthesised, are defined on Smith chart.
