  • Abstract
    Polarization rotators that have been reported are mostly constructed from linear grids with multiple rotating layers which are cumbersome to implement. A design study based on integral equation and Floquet Theorem formulation is presented here to investigate the performance of various rotator designs. In addition, a new polarization rotator design with good cross polarization isolation performance and minimal rotation layers is proposed.
