Abstract :
A new scheme to reduce the frequency-offset sensitivity of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is proposed. Without any redundant modulation, and thus no loss of bandwidth efficiency induced, two parallel discrete Fourier transform (DFT) modules are inserted in the transmitter side to reduce the sensitivity to frequency offset. The fast implementation of DFT also facilitates the proposed scheme.
