Abstract :
A planar integrated magnetics assembly (PIMA), incorporating all the power circuits for an 8.5 kV, 220 W power supply, is described. All transformer windings, inverters, and multipliers are integrated into a single, multilayer PCB assembly using a hybrid approach: conventional PCB fabrication for low voltage elements and MULTIWIRE(R) interconnect technology for high voltages
