Abstract
The parameter set of a high frequency multiwinding transformer model is presented to study the large signal behavior of switched mode power supplies with a commercial network simulator like PSPICE. In addition, the model is suitable for a detailed loss analysis and for an optimization of high frequency transformers. A comparison of measured losses and calculated losses shows that the method proposed will lead to very accurate results even if more than two windings have to be considered and even if the current contains a lot of harmonics
