Abstract
Fractional-Order (FO) control is applied in this paper in the area of power electronics for voltage source inverter (VSI). The reference system is Bode´s ideal transfer function. Modified Oustaloup´s Recursive Approximation (ORA) is used to approximate FO integrator. Integer-Order (IO) controller and FO controller comparison is carried out here and it gives result like, the FO controller has a better behavior than the classical IO controller.
