Abstract :
The possibility of the existence of electromagnetic surface waves guided by the composite medium-metal planer boundary is investigated. It is shown that the parametric interaction of these waves in the presence of an external time-harmonic electromagnetic field can be observed. The expression of growth rate for the surface-wave amplitudes is determined.
