  • Abstract
In this paper, an efficient scheme for Multipath mitigation in Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), such as Global Positioning System (GPS) and future Galileo, is proposed. It is based on Centered-Finite-Derivatives by using Five-Point-Stencil. By using the aforementioned scheme, the multipath induced bias can be efficiently reduced. In addition, regarding its structure, our method is less sensitive to the noise compared to the first and second derivative. In practice, noise will corrupt the estimation of the derivative, and at one point estimator (subtracting adjacent samples) is too noisy to be useful. The obtained results according to the computer simulation show that the proposed scheme gives better performance over existing correlation-based schemes. Thus, it results in a high accuracy in GNSS positioning.
