Abstract
The authors present a technique for estimating phasors representing sinusoidal signals from outputs of a pair of orthogonal filters. The technique is general in nature and can be applied to improve the performance of any signal processing algorithm. Test results that demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique when applied to the Mann and Morrison and least error squares algorithm are included.
