Abstract :
This paper presents a statistical approach to evaluation of accuracy of surrogate models. A measure of accuracy based on a distribution of errors is introduced. Two issues are discussed: validation of model accuracy and verification of stopping criteria in automatic model generation algorithms exploiting reflective exploration.
