Abstract :
This work describes large-signal time-domain behavioral model improvement accounting for better accuracy under various types of excitations. The focus is to extend the model´s operational range to cover both single-tone and realistic modulated excitations. The method to extract the enhanced model relies on proper experiment design and is illustrated on the example of packaged buffer amplifier for wireless applications. We perform quantitative analysis of the model´s validity range improvement by means of large-signal metrics.
