Abstract :
Frequency response masking (FRM) approach is an efficient technique to design a sharp-cutoff FIR filter. In this paper, a novel FIR filter design technique is studied based on frequency-response-masking approach. After introducing its principle, implementation structure and design method, its application in software defined radio (SDR) is stressed.
