Abstract :
Contemporary experience gained in the design and implementation of two modern cogeneration plants has been extended to provide guidelines for the applications of common generator bus configurations in mid-size power cogeneration plants. Short circuit levels and voltage profiles on common generator buses are discussed. Results from relevant studies are summarized to demonstrate dominant factors that influence common bus stiffness.
