  • Abstract
We present a theoretical study of the enhancement of radiative efficiency of light-emitting matter achieved by proximity to metal nanoparticles and a way to simulate this enhancement by FDTD method. Metal particles were used to generate local surface plasmon resonance, which can focus the electric field and enhance radiation by Purcell effect. Silver (Ag) nanoparticles have been studied to obtain the optimal parameters for the largest light-emission enhancement in visible range, and we put forward a method to increase the luminescence efficiency of emitter in near-infrared region.
