            Abstract : 
We reduce vertical resolution of ADC required for DSP-based burst-mode receiver by introducing OD-PE and clipped OFDM. Successful reception of 10-Gb/s TDM-based DCO-OFDM signals with wide dynamic range of 13.5 dB is demonstrated even for normal 5-bit resolution.
