  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new method of canceling ICI due to carrier frequency offset is proposed and analyzed. The implementation of this method is very simple by adding a precoder at a normal OFDM transmitter and a decoder at the receiver. Compared to normal OFDM system this method can achieve very much performance improvement, and at the same time it requires less overhead than the existing methods reported in Armstrong [IEEE Trans. Commun., 1999]. Also this new scheme provides different ICI cancellation characteristics for different value of u which can be used to satisfy different SNR requirements.
