Abstract :
This paper proposes a method of object recognition using simultaneous pattern-matching, in which the system generates an object image from a 3D model simultaneously in the recognition phase and discards it without storage. Consequently, this paper illustrates that actual object recognition can be performed within a reasonable computation time, with no need for a database of images, such as those used in conjunction with the former methods
