Abstract :
There are a lot of research and development to prevent accidents or failures of systems and human errors to improve safety of individuals and society. Consequently we assure security and reliability for many systems. Nevertheless we could not completely eliminate any risk and insecurity in our lives. We have a lot of anxieties about natural disaster, heinous crimes, economics problems, aging problems and so on. Recently the psychological aspect of safety and security has gotten a lot of attention. Some researchers have started to study about subjective sense of safety and security. In this paper we discuss about people´s feeling of safety and report some experiments we made to explain mechanism of this feeling
