Abstract :
The continuing technological progress indicates a persistent change of communication sequences between actors within service ecosystems. To know these changes and identify the effects on the different services is one of the central challenges to distinguish between desired and malicious communication. Basically, this knowledge is a prerequisite for sustainable ecosystem infrastructures. Today, there exist numerous solutions in the field of network data analysis, but these approaches only provide a restricted view of the network traffic. As an initial extension the combination of prepared network information uncovers the real interaction processes in a service ecosystem. Consequently, a generic process has been designed here to allow a better understanding about the communication patterns of service ecosystems. A prototypical application together with several evaluations show the potential of automated network data analysis within service ecosystems.
