Abstract :
A thermodynamic moisture diffusion model for an elementary system of a flat sheet of Kraft paper in transformer mineral oil is given. A novel analytic tool, moisture equilibrium ratio, is developed for the purpose of providing a numeric criterion to estimate how far such a system may be from equilibrium.
