Abstract :
In order to provide for the planning of the development and conceptual design of a wideband satellite system, various signal processing techniques required by the satellite payload are investigated. These techniques include polyphase filtering, fast Fourier transform (FFT) filtering, and tree filter bank techniques. This paper reviews and compares these techniques in a unified framework to assess their applicability to the design of a wideband satellite system
