Abstract :
The joint channel estimation and data detection problem for multi-input multi-output single carrier cyclic-prefix (MIMO-SCCP) systems is considered in this paper. The detection process is completed by Block-Iterative generalized decision feedback equalizer (BI-GDFE) method. The BI-GDFE method provides the soft information of the transmitted signals to the expectation- maximization (EM)-based channel estimation. The Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) is also derived to evaluate the quality of estimated parameters. Simulations show that the proposed iterative structure has the bir-error-rate (BER) performance close to the that of the BI-GDFE method with perfect channel state information (CSI).
