Abstract :
A CAD technique for mass-production of microwave circuits is described. The technique is completely automatic and achieves the objectives of maximizing production yield and minimizing the production cost at the design stage. The technique combines ordinary parameter optimization methods applied to the problems formulated in the form of both unconstrained and constrained minimizations. The effectiveness of this technique is demonstrated through a design example of a MESFET distributed amplifier microwave circuit
