Abstract :
In this study, the design and application a LED armature and a LED driver DC-DC buck convertor supplying from a thermoelectric generator designed as portative for low temperature geothermal areas have been carried out. The design of the LED armature of about 25 W has been made suitable by the IP67 protection standard. The DC-DC buck converter used with the LED armature was operated at a maximum yield of 92% at the input voltage of 28 V, the output voltage of 25 V and the current of 1 A. In terms of power consumption and illumination, when compared to other incandescent and fluorescent lamps using the same ambient, the LED armature consumed less energy and produced more illumination.
