Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a framework supporting dynamic interoperation between heterogeneous workflow systems and workflow-based dynamic Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). To this end, based on Sub-flow Task Model and Multi-Tiered Dynamic State Transition Model, three major components are defined: communicator, connectors, and automator. Communicator is the inter-system communication component of EAI Platform. Communicator handles communication within EAI Platform, and together with the Connector, lets customers, partners, enterprise systems, and EAI Platform´s own internal components exchange messages and information using a common interface. Connectors are the system integration components of EAI Platform. Connectors move data between systems-whether these systems are internal to your business enterprise, or belong to a business-to-business partner. Automator supports the Unified Modeling Language (UML) standard for process modeling and the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) standard for process automation systems.
