  • Abstract
This paper proposes an adaptive frequency assignment method and addresses the potential frequency sharing method. The paper investigates a scenario where a block of spectrum is shared between code division multiple access (CDMA) systems with different frequency bands, each with the same time-varying loads. Through simulation, we indicate that the adaptive frequency sharing method has a significant benefit in terms of capacity improvement and seamless service support.
