An enterprise view of defensive information assurance

Real-world network-centric military and commercial systems which operate within the global mixed wireless and wireline infrastructure require practical enterprise-wide defensive information assurance (DIA). The increasing reliance on common, open standards and intrinsic complexity make such systems attractive and vulnerable to information warfare attack.
