Abstract :
This paper demonstrates the performance of a 5.8GHz multi-polarization rectenna integrating four dual-polarized antennas. The proposed multi-polarization rectenna divides an RF wave of any polarization into two orthogonal components and converts each component to DC. Good RF-to-DC conversion performance was obtained regardless of the polarization angle for linearly polarized wave reception. Conversion efficiency for circularly polarized wave was twice as high as that of parallel connection of two-patch differential rectenna.
