Abstract :
This paper deals with a design problem of a stable continuous-time generalized predictive control (CGPC) system for an aluminum plate temperature control process. The process is of process with input constraints. The controller is considered by using coprime factorization representation and Youla-Kucera parametrization such that stable controllers are always produced. Simulation and experimental results of the aluminum plate temperature control are presented to support the theoretical analysis
