  • Abstract
This paper proposes a vertical beamforming scheme for fractional frequency reuse to reduce the effect of inter-cell interference. Two difference beams are employed in cell-center and cell-edge. The proposed concept is validated through computer simulation in term of SINR and channel capacity. The obtained results show that the proposed concept provides higher performance over the one using a single spot beam.
