Abstract :
In order to reduce the resonant power loss in series actively clamped resonant DC link inverters (SACRDCLIs), a novel two-amplitude DC link current control technique is proposed in this paper. It preserves the advantage of SACRDCLI, such as simplicity, soft-switching condition and high frequency; meanwhile the system efficiency and the dynamic response are improved. In this paper, the detailed operation process is analyzed and the design of key variables is discussed. Comparison between the proposed control technique and the traditional scheme is made to show the improved performance. Simulation and experiment verified the effectiveness of the proposed control technique.
