Abstract
Temperature and pressure are two significant reasons directly affecting oil production rate. There are many oil well temperature and pressure monitoring system about this field. But these systems are usually developed for some specific customers. Under the circumstances, every system is different in system functions, demodulation devices and sensors, so they are lack of generality and waste a lot of resources. In this paper we apply the component technology to the development of fiber optical oil well temperature and pressure monitoring system. The requirements of changing demodulation devices, sensors or the data processing algorithm can be met through switching proper components. It can improve the efficiency of system development and strengthen the scalability and reusability of whole system.
