Abstract :
A smart interactive video object generation (SIVOG) system for semantic object extraction from image sequences is presented in this work. SIVOG provides a semi-automatic segmentation system, which uses a semantic layer to interact with the user. It interprets user´s input and adaptively determine a processing algorithm. The proposed system is evaluated for several typical MPEG-4 test sequences, in which accurate and consistent results are obtained.
