Abstract :
In this paper, we present the time-domain analysis using MCD simulation and the FFT technique for solving the reflection problem of the nonuniform transmission lines. It is shown that the reflected voltage, and the reflection and transmission coefficients for tapered and stepped transmission-line transformers can be effectively calculated by this approach. The simulated results are in closed agreement with the theoretical results
