Abstract :
The authors report the results of research into a diagnostic algorithm for the development of a monitoring/diagnosis system for a 800kV GIS made by HYOSUNG Co.. Firstly, after they refer to the concept of an intelligent diagnostic system for GIS, they describe the specification and the current development situation of the system. Specifically, they report the results of experiments using the diagnostic algorithm for mechanical operation, gas tightness, degradation of LA and partial discharge. From these results, they obtain the low level diagnostic algorithm for an 800kV GIS
