Abstract :
In this study, microcontroller based powerline communication system is designed and implemented in order to measure and control the temperature of a place. Transmitting and receiving of the temperature data measured with DS18B20 is achieved with help of two microcontrollers called as PIC16F628. Digital bits are transmitted and received periodically at a frequency of 100 KHz. This microcontroller based communication technique requires less hardware and is flexible to change control parameters by written program for microcontrollers and is also applicable over three phase power lines.
