Abstract
A novel method for investigating AC motor dynamic performances that is based on the field induction motors is presented. The TI-model is shown to represent an excellent and simple model for dynamic AC motor study. A state observer with the necessary high dynamic performance structure for AC motor phenomenon analysis, called the Is State Observer, is described. Motor vectorial magnitudes are represented in field coordinates, flux-axis referred. The dynamic evolution of the defined motor variables is studied in rotatory vectorial diagrams. Several simulations of AC motors, both regulated and nonregulated, are presented in order to illustrate the proposed study method
