Abstract :
This paper presents a phase-shifted ZVT full-bridge converter with current doubler synchronous rectification for commercial aircraft power systems. The detailed operating principle and design consideration of this soft-switched power converter are analyzed and described. Novel circuit topology and control scheme are proposed to exhibit optimum performances (i.e. high conversion efficiency, ring-free and low EMI features). A laboratory prototype, 500 W 5 V/100 A converter was implemented. The simulation and experimental waveforms verify the feasibility of the proposed design.
