Abstract :
In the recent years, several hybrid algorithms have been proposed for the estimation of power system harmonics. These hybrid algorithms generally include an optimization algorithm. The presented study proposes to estimate integral harmonics using Differential Evolution optimization algorithm. To enhance the estimation capability of the proposed algorithm, the frequency deviation and interharmonic estimation has been involved in optimization process. The study combines Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm and Least Squares (LS) Method to estimate fundamental frequency and interharmonics. The proposed algorithm has been applied in simulation environment by using sampled real power system´s data. The results of the applied algorithm show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm for interharmonic and frequency estimation.
