Abstract
A very simplified numerical model was made so as to compare numerical results with empirical ones. It is useful to know the phenomena included in the measured transient waveforms which were taken for a coupled micro-strip line by TDR system. By this phenomenological modeling, measured results can be described depending on the degree of approximation. Some examples are presented to show good agreements with experimental results. They revealed that the frequency depending propagation constants and terminal capacitances could cause severe interferences
