Abstract :
An adaptive antenna-tuning units (AATU) utilizing analog mismatch detection and mixed-signal matching-state search circuits operating in a frequency band from 850 MHz to 2 GHz is presented. The fully integrated AATU IC is fabricated in a 0.18 mum 6-layer metal CMOS process.
