Abstract
Threat assessment is one of the most important problems in military applications and is the foundation of commanders to make decisions for their actions. In this paper, we concentrate on threat assessment based on the factors of space situation and air combat capacity of targets, such as altitude, distance and speed. After analyzing the threat assessment model of targets, a target threat level assessment method based on genetic neural network is proposed to estimate the threat level of aerial targets. Experiment shows that genetic neural network can solve the problem of target threat level assessment and using genetic neural network to predict target threat level is an effective method.
